Moniker will be holding a live auction from the TRAFFIC show in California Tomorrow, Wednesday April 29th, at 3pm PST, 6pm EST.
Remote bidding will be permitted through Snapnames.com, for those not in attendance or for those just wanting to bid online rather than by raising your paddle.
Overall the list is quite good but here are our favorites (except for the ones we are planning on bidding on, and the one’s we own that we have in the auction)
FindJobs.com, Reserve Range $100K-$250K. You certainly couldn’t find a more timely domain (except maybe for filebankruptcy.com below). The domain has a Alexa ranking of under 2 million and between 2,500-5,000 visitors a month according to Compete.com, but this is a domain that cries out for development.
Caribbeanvacations.com, Reserve Range $100k-$250K. Depending on where this domain’s real reserve is it could be a really good buy. Huge category and may be priced at or below what is sold for 2 years ago at TRAFFIC New York.
FileBankruptcy.com, Reserve Range $50K-$100K. Again a better domain for the times, would be hard to come up with. Priced at a very reasonable number, certainly an attorney practicing in this field could brand themselves with this domain on a national basis.
Santaclara.com, Reserve range $50K-$100K. Not only a city in California, but a county as well. Population of the county is a whopping 1.8M, and the city has a population of 108K. Estibot Appraisal $120K.
Mr.Org, a two letter .org, under $10K is a bargain, one that actually means something is a steal.
Cancun.org, hugely popular vacation destination for under $10K. Estibot appraisal of $36K.
Kingcrab.com, a bang on domain with traffic according to Complete.com and Alexa. Estibot Appraisal of $90,000.
Jonesboro.com, a city in Arkansas with a population of 60,000. Also a small town in Georgia with a population of 4,000. Esitbot Appraisal of $42K.
700.com, Reserve Range, $10K-$25K. We all know that 401.com recently sold for $65K at Namejet.com and private sales of 3 numbered domains have recently gone into the six figures. This is a very good three number .com and a steal at the reserve. Estibot Appraisal $42,000
MovieMaking.com, Reserve Range $10k-$25K. Sold with the .net and .org, beside being a bang on name for film schools and movie makers and producers it already is #5 in Google under the search term, so it will have natural search placement from day one. Estibot Appraisal $34K.
Shutter.com, Reserve Range, $10K-$25k. great one word .com great for picture or photography site.
Dietician.com, Reserve range $25K-$50K. As we all know, health care is one industry where jobs are actually being created and diet, nurtiton is a huge topic in the health care field. Estibot Reserve $88K
GhostStories.com, Reserve Range $10k-$25K. Domain has traffic, Alexa and Compete ranking and huge search numbers on Word Tracker and Vurr. Estibot Appraisal $170K.
Telemarketers.com, Reserve Range $10k-$25K, another huge job category, Estibot Appraisal $61k.
TrafficAccidents.com, Reserve Range $10k-$25K. Great domain for personal injury attorneys, who can make up the cost with one case, at this price. Estibot Appraisal $110,000.
ComedyClub.com, Reserve Range $50k-$100k, another category killer, priced in the mid-five figures, great for any brick and mortar club or the start of a YouTube, type comedy site.
A few other quick hits: SamuraiSwords.com, big collectible, high ticket item, $25-$50K reserve; 24.org, interesting domain, especially if priced on the lower side of the reserve range $25k-$50K, as 360.org sold for $25 K in January; Relatives.com in the $25K-$50k range, great for genealogy site; Backhoe.com also in the $25k-$50K range, you know what one of those suckers sell for?
On the negative side we have realty.com, with a reserve price over $5M, which is way high for these day and times. Moreover, it may not even be in the top five domains in the field it covers (realestate.com, property.com, house.com, houses.com, home.com, homes.com) are all arguably, and in my opinion better. If your going to spend $5M for a domain it better be THE domain in the field it covers like toys.com.
I’m predicting a live sales figure of over $1.5 Million.

Agree w/the recommendations, though I wouldn’t go as high on CaribbeanVacations & FileBankruptcy.
Especially like: SantaClara, Cancun, and Shutter.
Re the popular “Jobs” category, I’d give a plug on one of mine in the silent auction: SecondJobs.com.

Since, this thread has the interest of Traffic’s conference attendees and other domainers, I have to ask an unrelated question.
I ocasionally mis-type http://www.TargetedTraffic.com and get a typo site owned by Enom.
(TargettedTraffic.com)
I know Enom is at this conference.
And attends most of the other TargetedTraffic conferences.
I don’t believe Enom have been a sponsor of the conference for many years, if ever.
As outspoken as Rick is, why does he tolerate Enom’s obvious abuse of Rick’s brand?
How much could Enom be making from it?
It is more about the principle.
If I was Rick, I would tell them to give him the domain or don’t attend anymore conferences.
The only reason Enom is attending the conference is to make money for themselves.
I’m sure they are not adding anything to the conference.
Mike, please excuse the hi-jacking of your topic.

Think your on the wrong post, but to answer your question, not anyone can sell their domain on Namejet.com but there have been privately owned domains selling on there over the past few months

What about some of the alternative domains?
I have seen quite a few short, sweet, and to the point .travel’s sell. What about bargain.travel?
What an opportunity that is not mentioned?
A bargain travel portal OR even a name for many of those LARGE players in the bargain travel space…..
