According to a poll by Harris Interactive, spnosored by Intel, of 2,119 adults, found that, 46% of the women said they’d be willing to forgo sex for two weeks, rather than give up their Internet access.
While only 30 percent of the men surveyed were willing to do likewise.
For women 18-34 years old, 49% would skip sex rather than the internet, and for men aged 18-34 it climbed to 39%.
The same poll also found that 87% said the Internet saves them money.

It’s definitely an eye-opening survey. The Internet is important to me, but I’m not sure how far I would take it. On the other hand, I have respect for providers like Clear (www.clear.com/?utm_source=bc) who are making it easier for users to afford the access without compromising the speed of the web. And now that Obama is working toward a national broadband plan, I’m sure those stats will increase.

Interesting. Fits well with the AOL/OMD poll of women I blogged about in Sept. where “79% of these moms prefer to use the Internet to shop over any other method ” People in general and it seems especially women are becoming very attached to their internet connection.
