The first MeetDomainers (MD) in Poland is now a history.

84 participants – mainly from Poland – but also from Germany, Great Britain, Luxembourg and United States were visiting this first Polish domainer event.

Two days of MD were full of networking, fun, parties.

However there were also outstand presentations by famous Polish domainers, parking companies representatives (Ed Russell from NameDrive and Axel Kaltz from Sedo),  EuroDNS and Active 24 registrars as well as Dropped.pl and Zlapane.pl speeches – Polish most known dropcatchers.

Second day of MD was finished by domain live auction and party sponsored by NameDrive in one of the newest and already famous Cracow clubs, Scandale Royal, where many people stayed until morning hours.

Domain auction scored approximately $ 90,000, highlighted by the sale of adwokaci.pl (lawyers) for $28,000, aparaty.pl (cameras) at $ 16,800 and fotografie.pl (photographs) at $ 10,400.

23 out of 34 .pl domains were sold.

MeetDomainers event in Cracow seems to be very successful, so the second edition is very likely to happen sometime next year.
