Your Thoughts On TRAFFIC Auctions, Its Moniker By A Nose

September 24, 2008 by Michael Berkens

We have been running a poll for a week as to which auction house you think will gross the most sales at the TRAFFIC auction.

After a week of voting you picked moniker by just 2 votes over Rick Latona.

You gave Aftermarket no love with just 4 votes.

We will see if you were right tomorrow

I thought the opening night was a little disappointing, specially cd.com, but we’ll see what happens. I think Rick should do extremely well but Moniker has the numbers on their side. I feel for Aftermarket.com, I understand what they’re trying to do and don’t think they deserve the level of criticism they’ve been getting. It’s got to be hard to compete with Rick and Moniker for the ultra-premiums.

RE Latona’s auction: since one of the highlights of the auction is the auctioneer himself, anyone know if it will be broadcast live?

I give Aftermarket.com some credit for trying a different approach. However, its hard to tell if they were promoting Aftermarket.com/auctions or domaintools.com.
