On Sunday TheDomains.com turns 9, we will have some fun posts and prizes on Sunday so make sure to stop by. In the meantime I thought it would be interesting to look back and see which post got the most attention out of 9,667 posts.
The post that is number one by a wide margin, is a post written by Michael Berkens on June 24, 2014. “XNXX.com Loses UDRP On XXNX.com”
That post received only 8 comments but close to a half a million visits. 441,870 as of today.
You never know what is going to hit and what is going to miss when you publish something.
Of course the nature of XNXX being an adult related site helped as the site has an Alexa ranking of 238. Even though the topic of a UDRP would be the furthest thing on the mind of those searching for XNXX.com, curious minds wanted to know and came to read this post in droves.
Looks like an autocomplete issue to me.
Yeah probably not
Incredible lol!
I own nnxgx.com and it gets hit every day. It must have been a previous porn site. I often use archive.org to see if sites were previous porn sites for names I am interested in and how long were they porn sites. If I reg it, I generally get residual traffic.
I own gxnx.com and gets tons of hits every day and lots of offers.
Someone from China wants to steal it from me.
Mind me asking ,what keywords would you use for a domain like that tnx
Ages ago when I blogged at DNN, our top trafficked article of all time (and probably still to this day) was a post we did about adult domain names.
Congrats on the 9 years anniversary!
