50 Cent’s .Club Fan site just went live minutes ago.
The Site, 50inDa.Club, now combines all of his fan sites, a store where you can buy merchandise, watch videos, listen to music engage in all of his social networks.
Basically any and things 50 are a part of the site.
The site went live just a few hours before the big .Club Launch party that is being held in New York tonight and 50 will be in attendance.
The venue is already decked out and its all about .Club
As we sit today .Club has the 2nd most registrations of any of the over 100 new gTLD’s that have been launched with over 52,000 domains registered.
We are at the event and will be reporting on it.

I am not buying it!
It is so obvious that 50inda.club is here because he got a bold commission to be part of this.
Having 50cent.com, he does not need anything else. Dot-com is king and nTLD is pigeon shit. Watch for pooh 🙂
Patrick Hipskind says
I wonder if Tim Lee and the other scientists at CERN ever envisioned the day that one faction would maintain that the World Wide Web is controlled by .com, and other extensions used as a portal to it are just pigeon shit.

Goes to show that if you want to make it as a new gTLD Registry, you have to hire Berkens. From DomainSherpa show to blogs, he’s been promoting the dot club above all else, and he is usually smarter, calmer, but much more clever than his fellows on a panel, and manages to use any platform to push his sponsors, without detection. Without actually measuring the time, you’d miss the fact that he used up more time than his peers on a panel, you may even think he never spoke.

Few things, some I mentioned before.
There is already 50cent.com
There is already ThisIs50.com – his main fan site
Check his Twitter account – https://twitter.com/50cent
I don’t see one mention of this new site. You figured for an event like this, he might have mentioned it?
On new site 50inda.club – What do you see above the fold? 2 pictures with SHOP.50CENT.COM
.com
Having an already established fan site at thisis50.com with…….. 577,849 members. Do you really think he wants to add confusion? Split the fans up, the content up with 2 sites?

The guys at OnlineDomain wrote an article stating: There were 8 buyers that got more than 100 .club domains each. The 8 own about 37% of all .club domains.
I will assume Fifty is not one of those 8. Hiring a gangster rapper to promote .club is actually quite amusing. Social Media is .club’s biggest hurdle in regards to what is used by the end consumer. They have to have invested well into 6 figures into all this promotion, including the artist.

This will work better than the time he had to settle for 37cent.eu because of the exchange rate.

lol

It’s actually very easy to switch over to a new gTLD with an existing fan base, just redirect 50cent.com and thisis50.com to 50inDa.club – and give it a couple months. Voila. Done.
JBLions says
@djchuang Can it be done, sure. Does it make any sense whatsoever? No. The .coms are better domains, already established. He won’t be doing that, his record company won’t be doing that. It’s looking like the .club domain is just a 1 page promotional lander. I still don’t see him mentioning it on Twitter of Facebook.
Raymond Hackney says
Right, of course it can be done, does it make any sense to do it ? In 2014 that answer is no, could it change down the road ? Sure, but for now it makes no sense and there is no indication he will do any of that.
Domenclature.com says
It’s not just 2014, we have a tedious familiarity with someone doing it in 2011, 2012, called Overstock.com. They switched to O.Co
And Overstock.com gave it a big push (in what imo, qualifies as empirical data), before they ran back to .COM disavowing every other extension.
So, we’re actually talking déjà vu (all over again, according to Yogi Bhajan).

Just read something elsewhere

Kevin Murphy on his blog today said:
“I was there. As disclosure, .CLUB had paid for my airfare from London, a night in a hotel, and copious amounts of alcohol.”
So they did the same for you?
Acro says
I think that Conan.xxx is the best celebrity endorsement of a gTLD to this date.

Still waiting patiently for the report. Word on the street is 50 cent was there and took a couple of pics and ditched the party.
Only a couple of pics on the .club twitter feed 21 hours ago says a lot. Nothing on 50 cents twitter feed about it. You would figure there would be something about the 50inda.club launch party at 50inda.club but again nothing.
