As we said in an earlier post today we went through the zone file for .Email to see what people have been registering.
We noticed some interesting registrations.
The Dallas Cowboys which has an illustrious history when it comes to domain names, just missed again not applying for the domain name cowboys.email, in Sunrise and the owner of the domain is now Cowboys Concert Hall, Inc which is also out of Dallas.
I’m sure they will get their money’s worth went it sends out emails like me@cowboys.email
Another big company that missed on getting their .Email domain, is the car maker Bentley, that didn’t register the domain during email and the domain Bentley.email is owned by Bentley Art Gallery in Phoenix.
Some political domain names were registered all under privacy including BarackObama.email, HillaryClinton.email, RandPaul.email and Rushlimbaugh.email
Of course depending on use the registrant of those domains could easily lose them in a URS or UDRP
There were quiet a few religious email domains registered including Christ.email, God.email, Heaven.email and Hell.email
Apple registered ipad.email
One person registered the domain names Football.email, Tennis.email, Golf.email that are all parked at Bodis.
FBI.email was not registered by the agency or the US government.
Some of these are Sunrise applications placed by brands yet others were acquired during one of the premium first 5 days of registration.
My favorite domain off the list is Santa.email
Brilliant
My second favorite registration is Kennedy.email who can now be used by its owner, Vincent Kennedy of Portland Oregon

What exactly would they do with it? not sure i see they have missed out.
re cowboys.com, not sure they “miss out” here either. the people with the miss are those who payed way over the odds at auction.
Steven Sikes says
I think the Cowboys are fine with this.
Not sure why any company or person would want an “email site”, except maybe Santa, or maybe a “Secure” email site.
Richard S says
Some extensions I get, but this one does not seem
very ideal, sure if your are a billion dollar corp, but it seems like a needless spend of good money from
an investment perspective. Such a stale term.
Anunt says
.email sucks…people that registered .email are the biggest losers…
cowboys.email – half the team can not read and the other half don’t know what an email is…
If u tell the cowboys to check their email, they will walk outside their house and check their mailbox!!!
Fazihuzzamaan Rasheed says
@Anut
lol, very funny comment.

Scammers think this is their next ticket.
Gary A Leland says
In your article you state “One person registered the domain names Football.email baseball.email, Tennis.email, Golf.email that are all parked at Bodis.”
That is incorrect, I own baseball.email, and softball.email and they are not parked at Bodis.
Raymond Hackney says
I went in Gary and edited the Baseball.email out of the story. Thanks for the comment.
