Over the weekend we published a story how 9 gambling related domain names that were seized by the US Government’s Homeland Security division, had been placed up for sale by a private company in Las Vegas.
The domain names included TruePoker.com, DoylesRoom.com and Bookmaker.com.
The domains are now offered for sale by US Poker Marketing Affiliate, LLC the administrative whois contact Gzeshlaw.com.
I spoke to David Gzesh via email over the weekend who informed me that his company did in fact by the domain names from the US Government for an undisclosed price:
“The Court presiding over the civil forfeiture matter filed by the government concerning the 10 domain names approved the transaction”
“The proceeds of the acquisition transaction went to the US government.”
“There is no restriction on their use going forward, in the US or elsewhere, except that use may not violate US law.”
“The domains now belong to US Poker Marketing Affiliate, LLC.”
The other domain obtained by Gzeshlaw but was not included in the original story was goldenarchcasino.com.
All of the 1o domain names are available for sale or lease with no price indications given by US Poker Marketing Affiliate, LLC

Bookmaker.com is by far the best domain out the bunch! – I wonder what prices and how the US Government plan to spend that money they earned from these sales?

Like a person who maxes out their credit cards, buying everything in sight, the US government doesn’t really seem to have a plan on how they spend money.

So, the question is, how much did the government get for these domains (my guess is next to nothing), and to which Democrat insider did the domains get sold?
Follow the money trail…

It’s now official.
The US government is a domainer.

What am I missing here? Shouldn’t the/our emphasis be on the original domain owners?
