HireAHitman.Net Taken Down After Someone Pays Someone $19K For A Hit & Is Now A Landing Page

March 24, 2011 by Michael Berkens

According to Cnet.com,  HireaHitman.net was a site where you could do just exactly that,  Hire a guy to whack someone (and the government thought Craigslist was bad).

So according to the story  Marissa Mark of Jersey City, N.J. was arrested yesterday  accused of hiring a hitman to kill someone using the site Hireahitman.net.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, “the site was created by Essam Ahmed Eid, a former poker dealer at the Bellagio in Las Vegas”.

Also according to the story, “Marissa Mark allegedly attempted to pay Mr. Eid (not Mr. Ed) $19,000 as a down payment for the deed. However, investigators also claim that she tried to make her payment through PayPal using three credit cards that happened not to belong to her”.

“Eid allegedly flew to meet the target–and reportedly told her he couldn’t kill her because she looked too much like his daughter”.

According to Cnet.com, Hireahitman.net “has now been taken over by a production company that wants to make a movie of Eid’s interesting life”

However when I looked up the domain HireAhitman.net,  it seems to be going to a DomainSponsor landing page registered to Registrant listed:

I guess the saying truth is stranger than fiction would be applicable here.

What a nice way to target the weirdos worldwide:

“Assassinations are the most practical solutions to common problems. Thanks to the Internet, ordering a hit has never been easier. We manage a network of freelance assassins, available to kill at a moment’s notice. All you have to do is send us an email, along with the details, and wait for further instructions. All the correspondence is done through our secure online forms”

The guy was hiring as well.

    Idiot reporters….

hitmanforhire.net is the correct URL 😉

A detailed version of events can be found here:

Notice this story was written THREE YEARS AGO!

Somebody probably wanted to get some marketing traction for the film and this latest press coverage was a completely botched PR stunt… OOPS!

maybe send a note to the idiot producer that fabricated this and tell him what you think. He conveniently has a nice little form here for just such a purpose 😉

So the hitman himself was never arrested though we know who he is? Instead we will make a movie about him? What?

    “idiots…”

They must be, they’d get alot more business if they used the .com 😉

Can you imagine if he’d made an enquiry ?

Hitman: Hi, how much do you want for the .com?

    Domainer: $ 8,000

Hitman: How about you give me the domain + $8,000 and I won’t send you a pair of new concrete wellies?

Domainer: I’v had better offers 🙂

    ..Bizarre world 😉
