Some good names in there. I really like the designers.com.
Einstein says
InsuranceQuote.com is the one, IMO. Some of the names are not the best for search, footwear, for example.

Not everyone is looking for domains for search some are looking for brands or products,

Does Quinstreet throw a bidding tantrum over those insurance gems?
Girl.com is a mountain. Might be the Men.com of the other gender.
Anunt says
bunch of overpriced bullshit names!
Andrew Rosener says
Some great names – but are they priced to sell?
Doubt it…
Johnny says
Domain auctions are really running out of truly spectacular brands to sell, even with $5M reserves. This auction has zero spectacular brands.
Girl.com – largely adult term, and almost too boring for adult. Still the best brand in the lot.
Footwear.com – booooring brand. Shoes.com is where it’s at. Might as well tm your new slogan – Footwear.com – Granpas comfy footwear.
Designers.com – information, not ecommerce term. Fashion.com, shoes.com, jewelry.com is what you want as ecommerce brands.
The rest are either seo plays, or have nothing to do with ecommerce.
No inventory of true best category generics at this auction and in general means prices have to increase to at least $10M before any sales happen.

Hi,
Never did see an actual ‘working’ link “Domainfest” was going to put up on their website for ” domain submissions” for all auctions.
They had a “sign up email notification”… to receive by email when the domain submission link would be live…
Never did receive that…
On another note:
One can only hope they raise the price per person admission to close 2K in 2012…when we our economy will most likely be in worst shape then it is now.
Peace,
Dan
